Maintaining your chimneys/ chimney stacks is an important part of looking after your roof. Open/ dormant chimney pots, loose pointing and damaged cement can all contribute to dampness and moisture ingress into your property.

Over the years we have devised ways of fully waterproofing a chimney stack, while also allowing the stack to breathe.

Services including pointing, cement skews/ haunching and installing chimney caps and cowels are available.

Missing or loose cement can make ridge tiles unsafe. High winds can cause unsecured ridge tiles to blow off the roof, causing often severe damage. 

Entire ridges can be lifted and re- bedded, or simply re- pointed.

With a qualification in Lead sheet welding & Bossing from the LSA (Lead sheet Association), I am now able to offer a variety of specialised skills in lead work, particularly on listed buildings and in conservation areas.
